One of the most beautiful weekends in Tolosa, bringing together the International Museum Day, White Night (Gau Zuria), and the Extraordinary Flower and Plant Fair. Culture, a nice aroma and lots of colour: Tolosa Zuria Loretan. A plan for bringing together people who love culture and flower enthusiasts, both Tolosa locals and visitors.

For another consecutive year, the TOPIC, Council of Museum and the Federation of Florists of Gipuzkoa are joining forces to organise a weekend full of activities in Tolosa.

They will begin this Friday 17 May, with an open day at TOPIC museum and concerts by the pupils of Music School in different areas of the same museum.  Also, there will be special guided visits at night to visit the temporary exhibition “Scenes & Stories. The Magical World of Speeltheater Holland”. The night at the TOPIC will end with the tasting of the White Cocktail, prepared especially by the restaurant Bibe-Bide for the occasion.

On Saturday there will also be a chance to visit the TOPIC on its open day, where a free workshop has been organised for children, and there will also be a prize-giving for the participants of FOTOPIC.

Nevertheless, the starring role will go to the fairs: in addition to the traditional Tolosa market organised every Saturday at the Tinglado Marketplace and the Plaza Euskal Herria, this weekend Plaza Cristales will host the Extraordinary Flower and Plant Fair. It is an interesting chance to discover different spices and obtain advice from the producers of the different plant nurseries of Tolosaldea.

In the afternoon, Plaza Cristales will change setting in order to host the BirZIklatu second-hand market. Tolosa´s Tinglado Marketplace will also be transformed for the “Musikaria” concert by the Tolosa music band, which incidentally is celebrating its 25th edition.

But these are not the only reasons to head out to enjoy Tolosa. In view of the success of previous editions, once again this year there will be torch-lit guided night visits around the Old Quarter of Tolosa and the Parish of Santa Maria. The visits will take place at 21.30 on Friday and Saturday.

The gigantic floral installation also deserves a special mention, it will be created in the emblematic Castile Gate in Plaza Triángulo, courtesy of the Association of Florists of Gipuzkoa.

Important: the guided visits at both the Topic and in the Old Quarter of Tolosa require registration. You can do so at the Topic and at Tolosaldea Tour.
